College Loan Repayment Program (CLRP) which pays
100% of your student loans not to exceed $30,000.00 In order to receive this benefit you must have

Eligibility
- Recent college
graduate with a bachelors degree
- Must have had a
overall GPA of 2.00 or higher
- Must pass medical
screening for military service
- Must have a 1000 or
higher on SAT or ASVAB score of 74

Financial Assistance Program (FAP) - Once you complete your first summer of Officer Candidates School under the Platoon Leaders class you will receive $350.00 a month for
every month in school, pro-rated for incomplete
months. This is a voluntary program that will not be offered to you
unless you apply for it. The money is yours to spend as you wish.

Be fully enrolled member of the PLC Program & successfully completed one session of PLC
Training

Be physically qualified for retention in the PLC Program

Be a full-time student.12 hrs or more

Have a minimum GPA of 2.00 for the semester prior to application

Program Details

If
you enroll in the FAP program your active duty service obligation will
be extended by six months unless you take it in conjunction with MCTAP.

You may
receive FAP for a maximum of 3 academic yrs

If you quit the PLC program, get disenrolled for unsatisfactory
performance at OCS or are disenrolled
for failure to maintain standards required to remain in the PLC program you
will be required
to pay back and financial assistance received

This program is not available to PLC Law applicants

Marine Corps Tuition Assistance Program (MCTAP) - Once you complete your first summer of Officer Candidates School under the Platoon Leaders class you are eligible to receive up to $5200.00 a year
in tuition reimbursement. This is a voluntary program that will
not be offered to you unless you apply for it. The money you receive is
to reimburse you for money spent or loans acquired to pay for tuition,
books and lab fees.

Be a full-time student. 12 hrs or more

Have a minimum GPA of 2.00 for the semester prior to application

Must have an overall cumulative GPA of 2.00

If you are on academic or disciplinary probation you may not apply for
MCTAP
Program Details
-
If
you enroll in the MCTAP program your active duty service becomes
five years instead of three and a half years for PLC ground and law
applicants.

MCTAP does not affect the active duty requirement of PLC air and NFO applicants.

You may
receive MCTAP for a maximum of 3 academic yrs
-
If you take MCTAP in conjunction with FAP the six month active duty service extension associated with FAP is waived.

performance at OCS or are disenrolled
for failure to maintain standards required to remain in the PLC program you
will be required
to pay back and financial assistance received

If
you enroll in the MCTAP program your pay entry base date will be reset
to the date when you report to The Basic School vice the date when
you first went to OCS.
